Welcome to Avalanche Organics.
As many of you are aware, the Kickapoo River last year crested her banks and flooded our fields of organic crops. Floods in 2004 and 2001 impacted the soil’s health, but nothing was so damaging and lasting as those that we saw in 2007. After the waters receded, the farmers at Avalanche Organics decided to relocate their operations to Kings Hill Farm in Wisconsin’s beautiful Mineral Point.
